The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park's joyous, time-honored celebration of the true meaning of the holidays, a tradition enjoyed by multiple generations of Cincinnatians each year, returns for its 26th season as U.S. Bank presents Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL. The beloved, iconic story will be performed Nov. 23 through Dec. 31 in the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre.

Cincinnati Shakespeare Company to Close Out 2015-16 Season with JULIUS CAESAR & ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA


Cincinnati Shakespeare Company concludes its 2015-2016 season with a two-part theatrical event, pairing Shakespeare's Roman plays 'Julius Caesar' (April 8- May 7) and 'Antony and Cleopatra' (May 13- June 4) back to back. Artistic Associate Sara Clark directs 'Julius Caesar' and Producing Artistic Director Brian Isaac Phillips directs 'Antony and Cleopatra'. These productions feature Cincinnati Shakespeare's Resident Ensemble members including Jim Hopkins as Julius Caesar, Nick Rose as Marc Antony, and introducing Chantal Jean-Pierre as Cleopatra. Sponsors for 'Julius Caesar' are Messer, Thompson Hine, and Matson Money. Sponsors for 'Antony and Cleopatra' are Barnes Dennig, Taft, and GBBN.

NextStop Theatre Company presents their 2013/14 season premiere production of the Tony Award-winning adventure comedy, Alfred Hitchcock's The 39 Steps, directed by NextStop Artistic Director Evan Hoffmann. Previews begin tonight, September 26th towards an official opening on September 28th at the Industrial Strength Theatre in Herndon for this madcap cross between a 1930's film noir spy thriller and a slapstick British farce.
