
The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) will present nearly 1,000 public events throughout the year and offers free admission to many of its performances. Unless otherwise indicated, all events listed here take place on the CCM campus and are free. Some events require paid admission; please see individual event information for details and ordering information.

CCM Percussion Ensemble presents works from "old" to "new,” beginning with Varèse's iconic Ionisation and other masterworks by John Cage, Lou Harrison and Henry Cowell and modern chamber pieces by Steve Reich and Vinko Globokar. In addition, the group will premiere a composition by CCM composer Tyler Niemeyer.

CCM Youth Jazz Orchestra is a select big band ensemble, with students hailing from all over the Greater Cincinnati area. The ensemble performs a wide variety of big band literature from Duke Ellington to John Fedchock and Count Basie to Fred Sturm. An emphasis is placed on stylistic ensemble musicianship and improvisation.
